Maui - Day 1
So day one of Maui has definitely been a success.
Got 3 trips set up for later in the week, had tasty seafood (coconut battered calamari and an Ahi sandwich!) at the Whalers Village, and saw a sea turtle on our first snorkle - at dusk. He was eating!
Man this place is beautiful.

At the luxurious Club Quarters HotelL
Today I got to find out what kind of hotel $140/night buys you in downtown Philly.
Underwhelming would be one word for it; smelly would be another.
Apparently they have special architecture around here that funnels every car horn directly into your (closed, but paper thin) window, even 7 floors up.
There's an iron and ironing board, but not in your room - no, that would be silly. You have to go hunting around various floors until you find the magic closet that still has one. At least it wasn't chained down...
I'd include a picture, but it would just make you weep.

Interestingly enough,...
Interestingly enough, half a plan plus half a plan plus half a plan does not equal a plan.
If you're really lucky it equals about three quarters of a plan.
